Long before the October 2007 reports the media about the upcoming first flight of the 1st Airbus A380 - Super Jumbo.
I was lucky in December 2007 to be allowed to fly commercially with the A380 to Sydney and I felt privileged and "one of the few".
2000 sorties and 20,000 flight hours later, roughly 18 months, waiting for the SIA to the millionth passenger superjumbo. Now I'm just "one of many". Nevertheless, the flight to Sydney is a unique and unforgettable experience arte. (Has more of the "ship" than "airplane").
In recent days, all the conditions very different headlines to Singapore Airlines: In December 2008, "only" 1, 6 million passengers transported, and this corresponds to 7.5% less than in December last year. The result: 214 flights to Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, China, Mumbai and New Delhi will be deleted.
The only good thing, at least for us, is that the ticket prices for flights to 10 European cities be reduced. Perhaps there is something for you here? Click here for site of Singapore Airlines. (5.1.)
