Eid ul-Fitr! Finally our Muslim friends can once again make the day eating, drinking and a few other pleasant things. 1 month "abstinence" was complete and the Vedas must be celebrated. We were by Hamzah and Haidah invited to celebrate this festival. The food, mainly Malay, in this case was incredibly delicious and how I like it: spicy! And all home made!
Deepavali (the festival of light) gives us this day a holiday. According to the lunar calendar, this holiday is actually tomorrow (Tuesday = the first day of the Kartika month).
